The website hasn't been updated since December. What's the band up to lately? Easily one of my favourite bands ... personally, I'm really hoping for a new album in '08.

new record. apparently they maybe working in the States this summer for a while. touring maybe?

Maja sang some Blondie songs at an appreciation evening in Malmö in the end of february.

And apparently they will be playing at a Provinsi Rock Festival in Finland in june:

oh thats great i hope they do some shows in the States this summer. probably not but it would be nice. HAve fun if they play any shows in sweden Ego!

I am personally hoping for either a North American tour, and then a CD relase, or a CD release and a North American tour following to promote the new album.

Either way, I hope they come near here.
I have yet to see The Sounds live, and that's an experience I want to live

never thougt that i would write this but i hope they realease the album now in the autumn and do a tour of US australia and other places far from me cause i cant afford to see them right now as ive spent all my money on other gig tickets already which means i'll owe my mom money until xmas

It'll never happen, but I hope they make it to the east coast of Canada someday.

In the meantime, I'm waiting for an update (ANY update?) on a new record. It's been forever.

One of my friends recently talked to Jesper and said he said they were going to be releasing a ton of tour dates soon..

yea i sent them a message on myspace and i got one back saying that they have some good news coming our way real soon... so we shall see..

I sent them a comment on myspace and they commented back saying

I'll just post to this topic as it's the only one with any activity in a while.

So, (this isn't anything big...) if someone wants, I can send them a live-version of Ego, from Provinssirock. It has Maja speaking in the beginning. The only problem is, that because I'm so fcuking cheap, I had a free version of a program that can rip net radio stream. And the song just cuts off, even though there's a bit of the song still left. But it's not a big deal for me, something like ~20 secs from the end is missing.

That's a mess, but the point is: If you want the song, send me your E-mail (I'm not that good with rapidshare etc.), and I'll send it to you.

I am really dissapointed with the band for not keeping us informed on what they are up to.
They will be in for a shock' when they hit the road again' and I can assure you they will be playing very small venues on their next tour' (thats if theres a next tour).
The young students and other fans who saw the band live' and bought dying to say this' have now got new bands to worship' Like the Ting Ting's.

Just take trying to buy the Painted by Numbers' CD single.
I went to The Virgin store in Manchester to buy it' and they wren't even stocking it' and the band a few months earlier played an instore gig there.
Also my friend was trying to raise some cash to go to a music festival' so he took some CDs to sell to a well known shop in Manchester' and the shop owner wouldn't take the Sounds CDs' because he said they can't sell them.
So there are some tough times ahead for the Sounds' believe you me'

I don't know what's happening in the UK, but everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE else the band is just hot as lava. The two Finland-shows they did, full crowd, amazing atmosphere.

UK just happens to suck for some reason

I WOULD LOVE TO C THE VID and my email is parkerharr@gmail.com also i emailed ts and they said that they will b touring in the US heavily next yr and meybe even a few shows in the late fall. they also said there album would probably drop early next year.
