I saw an interview with Jesper and Felix a few days ago where they talked about the song EGO. And they said that its about 2 ex girlfriends that they had and that the song EGO was about them...pretty interesting since I would think maja wrote the lyrics, but apparently not. Anywone else heard about that?? I know from another interview aswell that apparently alot of the lyrics on DTSTTY was written by Jesper and Felix. Surprised me though....

it was a paper mag in germany, and I saw it on a music channel in UK. Its just that I can so relate to that song and now atleast I know where it came from...

yeah, thats true they do. I saw an interview a while ago with Jesper and Felix explaining how they wrote tony the beat. It was pretty interesting. Apparently they didnt even see each other when they wrote it, they just continued each others work...and at the end they just came together and wrote the lyrics. Pretty cool....

Well, Maja wrote the lyrics for the first album, but the music tey all did together but maily Felix and Jesper there aswell.
For this second album I heard that Maja and Fredrik didnt even hear some of the songs before they recorded them...probably bc they had some problems since they broke up. But as far as I know, Felix and Jesper are the two main songwriters in the band.
But who cares, they are all AWESOME!! They wouldnt be as good as they are if they all werent in the band!

The Sounds are not popular at all over here (in Canada, or at least in my province) and if It wasn't for Snakes On A Plane, I wouldn't know of them.
I guess I just assumed that Maja wrote the songs, normally the singer write the lyrics. Now I see that the scenario (Felix & Jesper, the two ex-girlfriends) makes quite a lot of sense with the song lyrics.
Either way it's a great song, and I'm going to see if I can see the album in a different way knowing that Jesper and Feliz wrote the majority of the songs.
Does anyone know the specific writers of each song? (lyrically?)
