for anyone who hasnt been at the Civic...i've been there for their annual Orchestra and the room is HUGE there is a pit area by the stage and the main floor has foldng seats that i believe can be removed. then in the back there are seats much like a movie theater...the aisles are actually pretty wide so i'm assuming if they let us, we can stand there to get closer to the stage and what not...however they do change the layout of the mainfloor and stage area sometimes, thats how i kind of guessed the seats on the main floor are removable, so they may not keep the same layout for the concert as it is set up on their website


i hope they remove the chairs on the main floor it would be sooo much better and could probably fit more people...
the way the place is set up its kind of formal so yea...it is pretty big though..nothing like a small club like say House of Blues or something...

^PS the best part about Santa Monica Civic Center is that the beach and pier is like 5 mins away! so you can go to the beach then the show or the show then the beach..though i would kind of be frightened to be in santa monica at like midnight but nvm.

now now, Santa Monica isn't that bad. Luckily I live about 5 minutes away from the Civic so it shall be fun. Then...off to San Francisco the next day to see them at the Fillmore!

ughh I really wish I could go to the show at the Filmore but thats 3 one wau airfares and 3 missed days of school

the fillmore is pretty much the best venue in san francisco!

i'm super bummed i can't go (it's my sisters birthday) but i know you all will bring back videos and pics!! man..i love their concerts, it's more like a party than anything else haha
