there once were two girls.
both were sixteen.
they've only known each other for about six months, but they were close friends.
together, they committed suicide.
no ammount of speculation can answer why they did it.
no ammount of speculation can bring them back.
i wish they were just two strangers to me.
but the fact is, they went to my school.
i didn't know them personally, but i saw them. i knew their names.
i saw them laughing, smiling, dancing, acting like normal teenagers.
so what drove them to do such a thing?
they promised each other they'd die together.
you could call them "famous" now, because everyone knows their names. but for all the wrong reasons.
the interest from the media was so great that the very day after their bodies had been discovered, reporters showed up outside the school.
they blocked the paths so students couldn't get past.
some of the kids didn't even know what happened, and upon the reporter telling them, they would burst into tears.
and you know what?
they recorded THAT too.
i just want to say, leave these girls alone.
their families are dealing with enough already.
r.i.p steph and jodie. i wish you could have been remembered in a different light.

Those two girls? I'm so sorry to hear about that. When I read about it I couldnt get over how sad it was.... And I;m so sorry that that happened.

i do feel sorry for those girls.. what a waste of life.. then again, they must have bbeen deeply troubled or in desperate need for attention.. i just think nowadays suicide is one of the first options, when it should be the last!

a boy at my old school committed suicide a couple of months ago, he just seemed like a really happy lad, always smiling, he was popular, intelligent and talented, it was such a waste of life and a shock, and even though i didnt know him that well, it still shook me and kinda got too me. Why do you regret posting it?
